#20 - As a matter of fact I do not. It sure looks like it's just a couple of lucky shots put together. But what makes you think he can't do it 10 times in a row? Do you have any proof what so ever, that he cannot perform the same action again with success?
Same goes for a lot of these kind of videos. Ofcourse luck has something to do with it. It's the exact same situation with you and the lion. Maybe you're lucky, the lion is lazy. Maybe you just tried and tried and eventually you somehow succeeded, with somekind of luck.
We are not naïve. Well not all of us. We like to be entertained. What is there not to "believe" in this video or any other? The fact that they are not highly trained professionals, but just random dudes, that film for hours, just to get a couple of lucky shots?
I don't believe this man is a trained professional. I don't believe that he makes a living off of throwing boomerangs. Maybe he does! I don't know. Would take a fair amount of research to figure that out.
So... In summary...
Stop being such a party pooper. What he does is cool. And if you want to make a similar video... Go ahead! I won't stop you! In fact i will encourage you! I WANT you to make a video like this. I WANT to see you make skill shots. It takes a shitload of patience to do, and not everyone can handle the thousands of failed attempts that MIGHT be needed to get that one shot. It's impressive. No matter how you look at it.
And most importantly. It's something you, most likely, can't do...

An island that consists of 21.062.352.435.000 polygons? So if we assume that each polygon takes up 1 bit (the smallest amount of data a computer can comprehend) then it's still a GIGANTIC amount of data to be processed.
It would be about 2400gigabytes of data to be processed. And thats assuming the polygons are as small as they, technically, can become.
Sure, the technology may be true. But it's useless right now. It's like inventing the car before the wheel. You have everything you need to make a form of transport. You just need something to make it move.
Maybe 10 years into the future, we have the processing power needed to make use of this invention. But by then, other companies might have found a way to do this. And maybe even more effective than this. Because if they replicate it they would probably get sued anyway.
In summary. This is an amazing development. But for now, it's useless on even the most powerful gaming machines out there. At some point in the future, we might be able to make use of it.

Disposal is not a problem because the batteries will be usable for many years. With the current speed of technology, batteries are greatly improved every year and super batteries are on the way. Maybe you're right. Now that you mention it, it doesn't look at all weird to me either... I mean. Tilted, cardboard tv's that are not plugged into any power source obviously will have some kind of seizure. It also seems more real when the TV is somehow swept from its foot stand so it's able to turn all the way upside down when it really should have hit him screen first in his face.
Thank god for the guitar though. That seems kinda normal.

Its a good solution for silent computers... but be warned. Mineral oil as cooling is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!
Its cool because its completely clear like water and its non conductive. So if you can afford to fill it into a small aquarium and submerge your hardware into it... ofcourse it looks cool but will you pay the price?
Also if you want to use this solution you will most likely never be able to clean your parts.
A cheap alternative is ordinary cooking oil. It has the same features as mineral oil. BUT... It wont look as cool as the clear mineral oil but its like 10 times cheaper. So if you just want a silent solution. go for cooking oil.
if you can afford it. go mineral... and if you dont care... go watercooling

SSDs are awesome. period.
This clip shows that the bottleneck of almost any computer is mainly caused by the harddrive. The CPU, GPU and RAM can read/write WAY faster than the harddrive. Only solution to this problem is SSDs. Again, no movable parts = uber speed

I have memorized my bank account numbers, credit card numbers, 2x Windows XP serials (1 for SP1 and 1 for SP2) Diablo II and LoD CD keys, and i dont think theres something wrong with me...
The way i do it is by searching for patterns in the numbers and letters. that refers to something i know already or have heard of. like the first 5 digits in the SP1 XP serial is FCKGW. I remember FCK cuz its my favorite soccer team and so on... if theres no pattern i just gotta remember all of it which isnt that hard when you already know a lot of the remaining digits and letters by comparing them to words or whatever.
Get busy remembering stuff!!

I actually worked for them once!!! I was sent to Arla (Danish dairy products firm). That sucked. Adecco recruits substitute workers to send out to companies in need. lets say you make 30 bucks an hour. thats pretty normal. but the company has to pay Adecco about 100bucks an hour. of which they give you the 30. so they make money!!
And if they dont have any work for you... you wont earn a dime.
This commercial shows the kind of thing you will be doing. Why would a company send their own employees to clean the toilets at construction sites
