The best part about this is that when they try to hire another contractor to fix this, that contractor will ask how the damage was done and why. They will quickly realized that they likely wont be paid either and just not do the work. Either that, or they'll force the business to pay them up front.

I mean, I don't like vegetables as much as bacon or steak, but I'm not NEARLY as scared of vegetables as these cats are.

Can you imagine all the lawsuits, jailtime/fines that would be handed down nowadays for doing something like this/letting your kids do something like this. Child protective services and the whole works.

Now fast forward to today and some places there are bans on tobogganing! Tobogganing?! Seriously? We're not allowed to slide down a slippery hill? But it's okay to sit inside all day and play video games and live an unhealthy sedentary life?

It appears that this design is using a swivel where the hose connects to the shaft rather than a pump. If that's the case then this pump design depends on the hydrostatic of the fluid in the 4 rounds of the coil, each perhaps ~0.5m high. This would mean that the "pump" could not move the fluid higher than 2m.

A better, similar, design would have the same water wheel frame with paddles powering/rotating a fluid pump mechanism that take in water and could pump it much high/faster relative to the force of the current and the surface area of the submerged paddles.

Ss that glass bulletproof? Even if it is and even if she knew that, it's still impressive she stood her ground.

I've recently been to the store near Airdrie, Alberta, Canada and these stores are awesome to look around in. You can spend hours in places like this.

#5, #6. I believe mastering any activity to this degree shows a certain kind of determination and patience that not everyone has. Solving a cube won't fix the world, but imagine giving a mind with this type of determination and patience an education and then putting them in fields like science, engineering, etc. Then give them a problem and the resources to do it with no red tape and say "Fix it.". They would.

"John Henry said I feed four little brothers, and my baby sister's walking on her knees. Now did the Lord say that machines ought to take the place of living? ...and what's the substitute for bread and beans? I ain't seen it. Do engines get rewarded for their steam?" <Johnny Cash: John Henry">
