at that time the vehicles were slow. the only advantage over walking was mostly the effort itself i suppose. being so slow, the vehicles can be easily controlled (stop if someone comes across it, but then again, anyone can cross without a problem since the vehicles are so slow)

damn, theres so much hate in these last posts.... ok, while i agree that lots of people do and make videos of parkour just to show off, i think that this guy in the video does this because he actually ENJOYS doing it, like people enjoy playing football or basketball. he's even been in world championships.

air resistance should only be in calculations for very high speeds or very precise calculations ^^
tbh the ammount of time i put there is probably screwing up the end result more than the air resistance being ignored ;p

i didnt understand #5's calculations, so i decided to add some of my own. this isnt about the speed of sound, its about the falling speed of objects. in this case, we should use the formula 0 = h + v.t + 1/2g.t^2 where t is the time the kitty takes to fall, v is the starting speed (0), g is the acceleration we have (9.8 m/s), and h is the starting height, what we want to know. if im not mistaken, the kitty took about one, or half a second to fall, so im considering 0.75 seconds. replating t in the equation:
0 = h + 0.t + 1/2.9.8.0.75^2 -> h ~= 2.75 meters

#4 i had found a video that was explaining a bit more, but it was about 10 minutes, so i thought that if i had submit that one people would find it boring halfway through. yes, because at least 2 minutes of the vid is 3 people filling a tank with oil.
one thing they explained is that the CD-ROM drives should not be in the oil, aswell as the hard drive, and keeping the plugs out will help aswell :p

the people who are saying its not fake are probably being sarcastic, but i'll say why i think, and am almost sure, this is fake. when u throw a fluid off a glass it SPREADS. there is no way it can all go inside the mouth if its further from a certain short distance, and staying stationary.

#8 you have some point, but there will be solutions to that. for example, if thats just for the personal computer and just replacing it for the mouse and/or keyboard, simply put the elbows on the table/desk.
tho i agree that the good old keyboard and mouse still are better. the gloves should only be used at certain situations where its more handy to use hands
