When a subway train goes by the updraft etc moves air into the model & it then inflates. It then deflates when the subway train moves away & then it waits for the next subway train to inflate it & entertain the citizens of NY.
That's great art & vision IMHO.

One of the funniest things I've seen in a long while.
I still wish Clinton was President in the USA but I know he served his two term followed by W but I'd love to see him back in office again.
It's a similar thing here in Ireland. Each President has a seven year term with a max of two terms... so fourteen years. Our President is great & no where near as powerful as the US President but we're just a little island...
I sincerely hope all the best for Obama & his plan for the USA post Bush...I really, really do

@1 What exactly do you mean?
Ever seen a UFC fight? That's ten times worse in terms of violence, thuggery (as you call it) & pure savagery.
They say there are 'rules' in UFC but really the only one is to beat your opponent to a pulp. For me, anyways, that not really any rule at all.
Boxing, on the other hand, is a precision sport & does require a lot of pure grit & accuracy to win & there ARE rules.
Don't tell me that there are rules in UFC. There may be but they are akin to saying 'the first rule of getting run over is to walk out in front of a car'.
Don't want to fight (sorry for the pun) with you Fergie but thats the way I & a lot of tohers see UFC. Also I and a lot of others don't see it like that when it comes to boxing.
Figure it out for yourself.

I want to support, to a certain extent, USAno1 / Oldfart.
We all, and I mean ALL of us, did stupid things while behind the wheel of a car. Speeding was my only offence. I got a few tickets. The most STUPID was when I first got my license. I overtook an unmarked police car & around 80. That was SO dumb.
But I've matured with age too & I've got the rest of my life to live. I don't want to spend it behind bars or have my license revoked!
Just be sensible & hopefully you won't ever meet that 'A-Team' crew of cops at the road side.
I know I wouldn't like to meet them 
Drive safe.

@(removed comment) So, in essence, we agree that the actions of those cops was excessive. They would have seen the guy was drunk & maybe a bit rowdy himself but there was no need for a small army of cops. Two would have been sufficient in my view.
Also this clip was most likely on a stupid 'bloopers' TV show in the UK with some equally stupid commentator making light of what was a serious situation.
Anyway, we won't fall out over it as you most likely know more about the US cops work than me.

That was way OTT &, like others have commented, I DO hope these dickhead cops are all sacked.
I've seen another vid about a cop, in the US again (funny that), who tazed a guy five or six times on just a routine stop. He got sacked & rightly so.
It all boils down to that saying:
"Power corrupts, but ultimate power corrupts absolutely".
Maybe those cops were on something before they went out that night...?
I just watched the latest COPS where they pulled two guys in a parking lot just going for their laundry. They had no other reason for doing it other than they had nothing better to do. That's my opinion & I'm sticking to it.
Thank God I don't live in the US!
It'll be all 'Change' tomorrow with Obamas inauguration...right?

Anything, IMO, that pisses off the French police AND has an AC/DC soundtrack too gets my vote! The skills shown on this vid were just incredible & I don't really like soccer but credit where credit is due.
Not too sure about pissing off the French public though. Thought that went a little too far TBH.

In principle I agree with that comment. It isn't beyond the bounds of possibility to have such a 'wheel' but you would need possibly a touch screen & super cool voice activation & speech-to-text recognition.

That was very professional. He never missed a beat throughout the whole thing & the cat got a nice pat too

I also loved the way you could see the cats tail just at his legs before he picked it up. It was like one of those 'Oh Sh1t' moments but, like I said, he handled it like a pro.

This was awesome.
I think what it boils down to is the fact that you can fit two objects into the space of one once they are designed correctly.
With the two silver & gold cubes all you see it the outside 4 X 4 surface which look 'solid'. However I'm sure these two cubes are hollow enough to encapsulate one another. So the genius in this is to make it work.
Once again this vid is awesome & I'm presuming the Japanese inventer is awesome too
