The only individuals that can "harvest" gators there are land owners that have state issued tags that reflect how much land that the owner possesses. #40 That is a good theory but you need to account for these conditions:

1. Exhaust temperatures at the headers can reach 1000 degrees Fahrenheit but decrease rapidly for every foot of exhaust pipe.(touch the end of your tailpipe for a second when it has been running, not hot enough to ignite a fire.)

2. Big blocks with blowers normally run with a slightly "rich" fuel mixture which drastically reduces exhaust temperatures. (And the opposite is true, "lean" running engines run hotter and usually end up burning holes in the pistons and valves."

I can't explain how the car got there without the driver of the truck not knowing something had happened, but that part aside...

If you look at 0:11 you will see how far back the driver of the truck sits in the cab. This combined with the height of the truck and you have a very limited field of view immediately in front of the truck that would make the car invisible to the driver.

From the reports, the car failed to yield while merging with traffic and the initial collision was the fault of the car. But I cannot imagine how the truck driver didn't know something was wrong after the collision even though he couldn't see, he would have felt the impact.

I used to drive much larger and much more powerful trucks than this one, so I am speaking from 1st hand experience.

This was supposed to be due to the force of the engine acceleration being similar to trying to shift out of park on an incline. And a 2nd report was an issue of an electronic shifter being ignored by the cars computer when attempting to shift from drive to neutral under full throttle, The explanation was the cars computer software was trying to prevent damage to the drivetrain by preventing the gear change while under full throttle.

With the exception of supporting software the hardware is so similar it's silly. I have an issue paying 2 to 3 times as much for a Mac when I can make a Windows machine perform just as good or better.
The real issue I have is the self superiority that most Mac users have just because they use a Mac and it doesn't matter if it were a pocket calculator... they still have no idea what to do with it! not pointing fingers, just citing the norm from observation...

I can say, as a victim of this type of abuse, IT IS NOT COOL! I had my Charger R/T (with mods) taken for a joy ride by the valet of the New Orleans Comfort Inn On Canal St. and witnessed my car (with 6 other people). I notified the hotel management as well as the corporate office and nothing was done... Needless to say, my front brake rotors were warped (they were only 2 days old) and I also noticed that the car had a strange tire vibration on the drive home. Still pissed off about this! And before anyone can say the cars all look alike, 7 people saw the plates and saw the valet drag racing back and forth on Canal St. in the French Quarter. After the complaints, all that ever happened was I received a letter in the mail stating thanks for bringing to the hotels attention and we hope you will keep us in mind the next time you visit New Orleans. YEAH RIGHT! Like that will ever happen again!
