Given the right conditions these crystal can form in just a few hundred years, proper heat, moisture, and gasses or minerals in the water. Just like stalactites can form quickly; not millions of years, just the right atmospheric conditions.
Plus they don't let many into that cave because most of the crystals have razor sharp edges, very dangerous place!

Its funny to me that people buy into this "noise to speech app" its a real app, but it is fake. Its just for fun!
Animals do not communicate by means of cognitive linguist thought. like humans, and thus cannot be "translated". Language is not something animals do, it is not within their higher brain function to do so. We do observe Audio communication, but that is different than Language.
Sounds produced by animals can relate a wide variety of emotion however: frustration, pain, curiosity, playfulness.

This Video is So awesome because this is the first time anyone has ever captured on film a herd turning around to rescue one of there own. The event was so astounding that the National Geographic bought this video from the tourist(they were on a tourist bus in Africa).
The National Geographic said that they didn't know that herds of Water Buffalo even did this!

MythBusters did this with equipment only available i think in the 1700s. they built it out of plywood. They attempted to catch things on fire and failed. They couldn't get a concentrated enough beam of light to any one spot. I think it was the "Death Ray" myth.
P.s. this is a time lapsed vid when the 'steel' is melting \ and the sound is edited in, makes it seem cooler i suppose.

You'd think that directors would realize that unrealistic 'over Fantastic' scenes don't actually help your movie. Most explosions you see in films would kill people in real life simple by the concussive force.
In close proximity to explosions, the concussion alone can rupture internal organs cause internal bleeding or brain trauma.
In a lot of movies you see actors leap away from an explosion still within 10 feet, of lets say a car bomb,...real life...dead!
If its not real, for me, it kinda ruins the scene or the whole movie. (if its meant to be real)

Planes are naturally very 'shaky' in flight, this is what gives the motion sickness feeling to those not use to it, and it makes it look like they are on 'wires'(there's alot of air currents moving those jets around)

The implications of this tech are amazing, you can fully render into 3-D images using only pics found on the internet to create a virtual world to explore anywhere pictures have been taken on the planet. sort of like Google's virtual 3-D road map but totally 'free flying'.

This is done by taking long exposure shots with a camera. He turns on and off the little flashlights in his hands for the eyeballs, then draws the smiley face and arms while the shutter on his camera is open. (by the look of traffic, maybe a 4-5 sec. shutter speed). Then simply pieced the pics together.
I suppose you have to know a little about photography to appreciate this; otherwise, What The Heck??!
Whats cool is there's no editing in this, just strait up plain pictures back to back. Thumbs up for creativity!
