growing up in canada, hockey is part of my life. like many other canadians i grew up playing the sport and watching it. fighting is part of the game in a sense. it's not like these fights break out in every single hockey game. usually they happen if someone does something stupid that requires an ass kicking. isn't that awesome that you can do it and sit in the penalty box for 5 minutes only? not all leagues have rules like the nhl though. some leagues if you fight, you will get suspended a game or two so it's the risk you're taking. hockey is one of the fastest, toughest sports to play. hockey clearly isnt for people who are turned off by the occasional fight in such an amazing sport. #12 had the balls to say what hockey fans were all thinking

Being Canadian I've seen this commercial about 200 times. Canadians truly are nice and generous people to strangers. I lived in the States for a year and got a door slammed in my face 8 out of 10 times. In Canada, it's about 1 out of 10 times. Small gestures like holding a door open speak a lot.
