But the cyclist was asking for it. He was in the middle if the bridge highway. He was jamming traffic and yet he is going like he owns the road.
And it is obvious the cars far behind don't see what is in front; since the car directly behind the cyclist is blocking the field of vision. Not to mention the big bus was behind the cyclist before he was run by the car.

Well, it is quite a dilemma.
The two main concerns of plantation are Fertilizers and Pests:
-The soil will loose nutrients the more plantation is done onto it; which is also referred as over-plantation in underdeveloped countries that do not know how to fertilize the soil. Since ancient times, fertilizers have been used to re-supply the soil with nutrients. A very good example is how farmers used collected human feces for plantation.
-And then there are the insects and other crop pests which eat away a great deal of the plantation. Sometimes, pests that invade food are not detected until the food is brought onto the table. And there are even some pests leave residues that are bad for health.
This is where pesticides come into place. Chemical engineers try to make pesticides that are made into the fertilizers or sprayed on top of the plants to conserve the food supply by killing pests. Although it may seem good at first (because it also kill pests that may leave bad residues); chemicals that are strong enough to kill pests, we don't know what it might do to the human body. It could be that the amount is completely unnoticeable to us by eating a few inorganic foods but we can't tell what will happen if we continuously eat them in our life-time.

I do think that his open source hardware thing is somewhat revolutionary or the start of new ideas and solutions for many co-op problems. The same way Open source software is somehow threatening to closed source software, this will be a threat against manufacturers. But hey! Just like people pay for high-quality software, people are going to pay for high quality hardware. But at the very least this will serve as a good competition against monopolies and an acceleration of technological boom for all kinds of needs.

Well, in this world of humans the bullied becoming a bully is not a rare thing neither. This is specially true because the bullied get curious at some point of time of wanting to know the bully thinks and why they bully. The worst possible turning point is when someone gets comfortable bullying and continues.
In a personal experience, i grew up not knowing the concept of "bully" and always stood up for myself. I also had friends so bully encounters never lasted long and always ended immediately.

This is an interesting concept. We have to give him credit for that. I also do see that it does seem structurally more stable in many ways because they frame of the saucer seems to be more supporting.
But the problem is that it requires way more material than conventional airplanes to build the framework. Using the least amount of material for the most productive work is one of the biggest concern of engineering. You can see that the flying saucer uses only a really small amount of space to carry things.
Of course, the one that we see on the future would be a modified version and probably a more efficient one. So let's look forward it.

Obama, he really still haven't shown any leadership or actions that have helped the country in any memorable way and the oil spill is still going. While people's focus is to have the oil spill stopped, Obama's focus is way off by making BP pay for the damages of the spill. It is like a criminal killed someone and the Chief officer is blaming the actions on the patrolmen instead of focusing on catching the criminal.
Media, is focusing too much on BP payment and critics to Obama. Rather than just criticizing Obama and his emotions, they should have focused on engineering resolves and how the spill can be stopped. In a way, the media did contributed to the shift of Obama focus. When it comes to media, it is always about who to blame and it pretty much shifted Obama's focus to blame BP and pay for damages instead of what can be done to plug the hole.
So, who is to blame? Stop blaming and start working. What we want is the hole plugged. We can talk about the consequences and resolves later. First thing first.

Even assuming that those pictures are done by firemen and workers doing clean up on the ground zero, doesn't justify the free fall motion on the TWC building collapse.
#(removed comment) I am not saying that U.S. government is behind the conspiracy of anything or whatsoever. I am just saying that there is no way that the building would have collapsed just from a mere fire. There have been cases of smaller buildings with less steel frame core being crashed by a plane and never in history have crumbled the way the TWC did.
And it is not that hundreds were killed and no one voiced out, it was just that those who voiced out were ignored by the ignorance of the majority. It is not just the video link i posted, you can find much more by university professors, architects and engineers; who explain that no way in the world, the physics behind it works the way as explained by the authorities.

#(removed comment) You know, how do you explain the the way the exact diagonal cuts of the steel columns on the site you posted. Buckling can never cause such kind of diagonal cut. Rather buckling would cause bending and torsion deformation not CUTS.
Even if the fuel was carried inside the building, the only frames that have been weakened are of that floor. Meaning that only from that floor above would have fallen down and the core frame bellow should have been more than enough to support what was left above.
Even if what was left was not enough to support the weight above, it would cause sheer resistance for the falling and knock only a few floors down and then the floors closes to the ground would still have great resistance against the free fall motion.

In fact, the video link i posted was made by some Americans. It is always best to criticize those who specifically were responsible, not the entire category.
#(removed comment) Again go learn about demolition or watch the video I posted in comment #23. The metallic frames were not only on the outward of the building. There were a bunch of them on the inside, and so many that it is the "core" of the structure.

#13 I agree with you but there are some drawbacks. Some people think too highly of themselves and if they think they are satisfying when they are bad, it can be a double edger sword.
So i guess the best way is to judge it in different perspectives. From your own perspective and other people(even if they cannot always be trusted). It is better than nothing.
