So in fact he has more than 31 hours to deliver them. Here is another spanner in the works - Orthodox Xmas day is the 7th Jan. Giving him yet more time.
And why would he carry all the presents in one go? And not distribute them in key locations along his route in advanced of the delivery night, so it wouldn't be such a heavy load on the slay.

@3 if you give a compass a really hard knock, you can demagnetise the needle. So it may be a little off, or totally wrong. It's unlikely that both would be demagnetised in the same way, so if they both point the same way, you're good to go. Also, you can really easily loose one.

Those things are designed to be bounced of a surface before impacting a person. Like shooting at the ground in front of someone so it bounces off and hits them in the legs. Not a direct shot and this close range. He could have ended up with broken ribs.

While this vid would have been better if it wasn't fast forwarded. That is some pretty fast climbing. Very hard conditions and no rope system for safety. Each move he makes has to be perfect or he could fall to his death. And he is doing it pretty fast (even if the fast forward was off). He's doing it faster than I would be if I had a safety rope. Hell of a climb

It's amazing how clever some animals are. Like crows who've learnt to drop nuts onto roads, to have cars drive over them to break them open. They even learnt to drop them on crossings, so they can safely get the nuts at red lights.

People don't want to get involved. In central London I saw two guy locked in a fight with bleeding faces. I stepped in and broke it up. But I could either keep them apart from each other, or call the cops, not both. I was asking people passing to ring the police. A lot of people stood and watched, and all claimed they don't have phones. Some people walking by ignored me, and one person asked "why", and carried on walking.
The moment I stepped away to make the call, one guy smashed a bottle on the others head and things got worse.
It sickens me that people won't step up to help. But I guess what they say is true, if you need help, you won't find it in a crowded place. People will walk by assuming someone else will help.

The biggest problem I see is the roads getting dirty. I think issues like traction and material strengths can be solved. And the panels don't need to be that efficient, because there would be so many of them. The biggest issue would be cleaning the roads, you couldn't allow dust to settle on them as that would block the sun's rays. And worse still tire skid marks wouldn't go away that easily.

#9 If you find a $100 dollar bill you should return to the owner, but if that isn't possible then it's your lucky day. Say you see someone drop it, pick it up and give it to them. But if its just there on the street, then it will get blown away and someone else will have it - so it might as well be yours.
But if you find a car on the street, you don't drive away in it. Most people will walk right by. Others might call the police and let them know. And only the criminals will go for it and steal it. And this is a nice way to teach the criminals a lesson. If they can't tell sting cars and regular cars apart, they might just decide that stealing cars isn't worth it and stop. And that reduces overall crime in the area.

Why is this a British cop? The incident is in Seattle. The cops are dressed like American cops, and the police statement is done with an American accent, by someone not dressed like a British cop. So the title of the vid should be "American cop sends innocent guy into a coma".
#3 as for running, its a natural instinct. People chase you for no good reason, you run for your life. It takes time to process the fact that its a cop and that you should stop. Or maybe he thought they finally caught up with him for those parking tickets he didnt pay last week.
Its no reason to use that much force. The cop should have caught him - bear hug and to the ground, not slammed him into the wall, if they thought he was someone else.

The iphone has an accelerometer so it can detect you hitting the phone with the credit card. And it has a mic to pick up the snorting noises. Its probably a basic app that responds to vibrations and sound. It wouldnt matter what you hit the screen with or where, the coke would split apart in the same way each time. And as soon as it detects the noises, each row of coke vanishes.
The only way to make it look like in the vid is to know where to hit the screen, otherwise it would look wrong. And know the speed and order of each row of coke.

As for the counting... I'm not convinced. I can't believe that a dog will have the ability to do multiplication and subtraction and have such good understanding of english. I love this idea in terms of safety, and I dont want to repeat whats already been said. Really impressive bit of kit.
Ive known about these kinds of saws for years, but I didnt realise that the blade and safety mechanism has be replaced each time its triggered. If the system is triggered by accident (ie: not by someones limb), maybe by some damp wood or some containments or a short circuit somewhere, this could be quite expensive to operate. And thus not financially feasible for factories.
Perhaps it needs a little rework, where instead of stopping the blade, its just retracted at lightning speed and allowed to slow down inside the table. So you can just reset and carry on using the same blade.

Most people can hold their breath if they really try for a min or so. So I can happily accept that a person can lie underwater for 1 min 14 sec as in the vid.
But there is no way that you can keep exhaling so many bubbles for that long. I'd say that after 20 sec he should have been out of air, but he just keeps going. And I cant see any air intake around his mouth. So unless there is something hidden under that mask of his, then I will lean towards this being fake.

Europe has two center locations. One is based on the land borders ignoring the sea, and the other based on the sea borders. In both instances the center of Europe falls within the borders of Poland. Slovakia is directly south of Poland, making it central Europe from a geographical point of view.
However from a political point of view, Germany is central Europe and anything east is Eastern Europe. Making both Poland and Slovakia part of Eastern Europe.
Personally I prefer the geographical take on things, but technically both are correct.

There are two things that scare me about this, one - how closely this resembles a video game and two - how more and more of these crazy motorbike vids are popping up.
These bikes are not made to go like that on those sorts of roads, one day these dudes will kill themselves or even worse, kill someone else.
Why do they bother selling bikes that go so fast anyway? They brake every speed limit. Easiest thing to do is to not make them road worthy.
