A repeating truth is that we all will return via organisms that are other than mice or birds,to provide energy for fellow creatures. Afterall. no high energy molecule ever goes unused.

I have heard of "screaming like a little girl" but, to scream like a grown woman must be in the DNA.

The "Sheep Cyclone" reminds me of the naive and gullible Republicans whose loyalty to their beloved politcal party continues in spite of all else.

These people obviously were not paying attention in class when Newton's 3rd law of motion (action and reaction) was being dicussed.

I do not recommend a low amperage and high voltage current be delivered via the keyboard whenever a person makes stupid mistakes on a computer but, it may reduce greatly the problem represented in this cartoon.

Science has indeed, taken a "small step for mankind", but, has a longer step yet to come to replace mankind's need for understanding all that nature has to offer.

The cat has teeth and claws, while the dog has teeth, a bark and four legs to run like hell when his ego gets the best of him.

There are those who prefer mountains, and those who prefer the sea shore. Even though the sea shore reflects constant change, I prefer the mountains due the recorded history evidenced in the rock strata, as well as in the challenges met by just getting there.

-1 12. denniscav commented 13 years ago on video Immigration, world poverty and gumballs.

Planet Earth has long passed the point at which uncontrolled human population is sustainable. We all now are reliant upon the past millions of years' storage of solar energy in the forms of finite natural gas, liquid petroleum and coal that required the Earth to store-up over millions of years. Sadly, our concept of progress does not take into consideration long term effects. More than 150 years ago, the English economist/scientist , Thomas Malthus, said, and I paraphrase: "Like lab rats, humans will continue to increase in population until the point at which nature can no longer provide. At which point, there will be a sudden and catastrophic collapse."

Unless the surface upon which the disk is spinning is concave, due to the disk's gravitation to the center, magnets are certainly involved.

The only way to re-create an original art produced by a human is to first, re-create the origin of the universe.

According to Darwinists, what does not kill us, and creates turmoils and perils, makes us stronger which is then passed on to our offspring.

The bird looks more like an Australian magpie than an American raven to me. How much the bird's reactions to the model airplane is determined by instinct and how much by rational consciousness is up to debate.

+2 21. denniscav commented 14 years ago on video New way to catch fish

The sustainability of our own human species into the future, along with the oceans, not at the present time being over populated with dolphins, should be evidence that our present human population growth, which is far beyond 'nature's ability to provide much farther into the future, is at peril. Our present, "f#%king' to much", that results in a population explosion in our numbers csnnot be sustained much longer into the future.

+3 22. denniscav commented 14 years ago on video New way to catch fish

As arrogant as we humans are in demonstrating our intelligence in any and all ways, the dolphins have evolved to a level of supremacy when sustainability is entered into the equation. The present sea is not over-populated with dolphins.

All of these future and proposed benefits from computer technology only retards and slows down the evolution of the human mind. Relying upon computers today for speed and accuracy, also slows down the human mind's evolution in the direction of the same.

+1 29. denniscav commented 14 years ago on video Large Hadron Collider - How does it work?

Due to glancing collisions instead of head-on between the protons traveling in near opposite directions in the LHC, the resultant particles that result will not be the same or, perhaps even similar to those that were formed during, and immediately following, the 'Big Bang'.

The call to this viral dance is as infectious and contagious as is the call to war. The primal call to dance is enjoyable and harmless, whereas, the primal call to war, conflict and violence must be given much more consideration.
