#5 it's not the same shot (video shot i mean) and he never claimed the impact resulted from what we saw a few seconds before. maybe he didn't like the original result so he just shot again. it wouldn't make sense to fake it, he has the gun and the ammo, there's no point in making things even more complicated and faking it.

portal fans are the worst. don't get me wrong, portal 1 is my favorite game and the 2 is close behind, but portal fans are annoying. two comments and two mentions of cake. yes, we get it the cake is a lie. it's only been more than 3 years we've had to live with this semi meme going on. as soon as something is slightly related to portal, half the comments are about the cake being a lie. it's not cute anymore and there's a very good reason as to why valve didn't mention a single thing about cake or anything cake related in portal 2.

that's far from being the world record. it's 6 seconds and a bit if i'm not mistaken. #2 they're always allowed to look at the cube before solving it, i think it's like 5-10 seconds to analyze which of the hundreds of algorithms they have to apply. still, mad props to this guy, puts my record (50s) to shame.

not necessarily a bad idea for an advertisement, it's just that they're targeting an M rated game to a T audience. obviously teens would play this regardless, but EA doing so is 1) immoral and 2) really controversial, which i guess is what they're after.
it's stuff like this that set back the gaming medium behind stereotypes and prevent the public eye from seeing what gaming can achieve: art. i'm extremely ineloquent, watch the extra credits episode dedicated to this topic, really interesting.
