also, the spinning wheel -is- the buffering process. if you activate "autoplay" in the settings the video will start playing as soon as the play button appears, because then it's buffered and ready to play. all videos are usually encoded with ~1000kbps so you need at least a download speed of 125 KB/s (1 Mbit) to avoid stuttering. i didn't experience any lag either, but it's possible.

i am also sure that there are lots of other people on this planet, that have nothing to do with all of this, who are really tempering with servers all over the world 24/7, all year, so something bad can happen anytime anywhere. but i also know that server-admins are pretty good at making backups and finding other ways to avoid any long term problems, so everything will most likely be fine.
I expect people, in special occations like these, to still give out life sustaining medication till the servers are back up, even if it would be illegal from their perspective. i would probably give you the medication anyway and deal with the legal consequenses later. maybe someone will understand why i did it afterwards. maybe not .. i wouldn't care.

i can think of a lot of deadly "unintended consequenses" that could happen when driving a car but i would still do it. i can think of newspapers stripping their articles by thinking about "unintended consequenses" ,but there would propably be no useful information left to read.i can also think of a censor-layer being placed on the internet, censoring everybody and everything in real time as a man-in-the-middle and the "unintended consequenses" of it. i can also think about the usa planning to have an "internet kill switch" and the "unintended consequenses" of using it. i can also think of the "unintended consequences" of creating a fingerprint/dna/biometric database of everybody because of political pressure. you tell me that you would care about the family, future or health of some guy that is raping a friend of yours in front of your eyes. there might be some aggressive reaction at that moment, you might call the cops, maybe even use force on him with all the "unintended consequenses" .... or you might just look away and let him do his thing. i personally wouldn't approve to do anything that might be illegal on it's own .., but i would probably understand why you wouldn't have cared much about his heart issues or the family that rely on his income or maybe that guy has a company that goes bankrupt because of your actions and lots of people get unemployed and lose their jobs and income and maybe some of them end up shooting themselfs because of this. as you say .. millions of possible "unintended consequenses"... also called the "butterfly effect".

If they would have done it, all 250.000+ cables would already be on the street, propably uncensored.

.. no problem .. take all the time you need .. but you have to know that there are lots of different age groups on the internet and usually they are not that old or wise... there is no actual ranking so the achievements are more or less for your own overview atm. this might change. snotr is the only site that has achivements in this manner so we are pretty much walking on new land here.
uploading a picture is very easy .. go to your profile site by clicking on your name in the comments.. under the image you see a link "set picture" .. click that and choose some picture on your computer .. you can also click on the little pen-icon beside your gender and make your choice there... you can .. but you dont have to.

#3 did you submit the video you mentioned ~7 days ago? if thats the case you should know by now that the "published date" isn't the "submission date" .. this video here got submitted more than a month ago. atm there are 200+ videos in the queue waiting to get published... ~5 vids get published per day .. do the math. nobody gets special treatment, not even the mods themself. some people just submit more videos then others.
#10 there is a limit on how many videos can be published per day per user and we try to spot cheaters to keep it fair.

#46 .. i dont think they used a filter .. this is all done by the lens. The 'filter' of your camera is actually an 'effect' .. a post-process .. you could do that in photoshop too, by masking the part you want focused (the center) and blurring the rest.
With tilt-shift lenses this happens optical in the lense before it even hits the sensor of the camera...(no digital processing to get depth blur)... the result is very difficult to fake in photoshop and most authentic because it's real tilt-shifted-focus.. the same thing that happends when you get very close to stuff with your eyes... i also think they made 1 picture a second... my 2cent..

- On every mac (since ~1998 with firewire port) just press T on startup to make it an external HD. Even if it's a MacPro with 4 HD's you will still just connect one firewirecable to another computer (mac or pc) and you will see them all there as external Drives .. This is some very handy stuff!

'windows' (which includes ultimate x64) runs fine on my/every MacPro (natively .. as in .. reboot and its windows .. reboot and its osx ... aka Boot Camp ) .. because it has an intel-cpu and an nvidia/ati graphics card. So ... everything works on a mac, no lack of anything, can ride every road, climb every tree. The most problems with macs exist between keyboard and chair.

i have an iphone for a year now and the wow-effect got a little bit more decend but the sick-effect that i get by looking at other phones just raised a lot. you realize that every other phone just sucks. even android (at the moment) the iphone is not average at all!
this app is a pretty simple one, but the idea is cool.
1. he is blowing into the microphone (sitting at the bottom of the iphone, beside the connector)
2. programm gets a peak on the microphone signal (noise - pfffff)
3. programm checks which buttons are pressed
4. programm plays the sound of each button pressed
what a lot of people forget .. if you got a jailbroken iphone you can...
+ vnc from the iphone to your computer
+ vnc to the iphone from your computer
+ use skype (fring) to talk/chat (even 3g)
+ run an apache webserver on your phone
+ the terminal programm is awesome
+ record video with sound (cycorder)

GPS works only ONE-WAY ... and that way is DOWN TO EARTH.
The chip seen in the anti-verichip video (and other videos, cause that issue is quite old) only contains a number .. i guess ~16 digits. nothing more . just that 'unique' number. they also seem to be easy to copy, so they are not as reliable as a passport, not even close. good for pets but not for humans. we dont do eyescans of dogs, do we?
These chips only purpose is money, made with fear.

#12 everything is real. the only thing thats superimposed is the jump down. you could easyly do that with a skater doing an jump with his skateboard in front of a green wall. he doesnt even have to jump down somewhere. and then you key/cut him out, move him where he should be. play a bit with timeing. add some drop shadow. add some chark effects on landing and start. add some aound and you are done.

6 minutes are equal to 5.400 frames (at 15fps)
lets say they needed 2 minutes per frame to paint (what i dont think is possible on that big building) they would have just spend 10.800 minutes or 180 hours or 7,5 days only painting.

i only started about religion because i saw one of those Jonny 69:69 quotes again.
its just a nice wrapup of older religions.. religions are always the same. it can only be true in your head nowhere else. and what 'findings' or 'scientists' are you talking about? Stonehegde? Mayas? the difference with chinese is that everybody is able to learn chinese and after a while, even to understand it. i dont know how many languages you speak but when i first came to the netherlands i didnt understand a freakin word they where saying. total gibberish. now i can even understand farmers or old peoples slang.
thinking about it .. when i was little and my parents got something new, like a tv, vcr, toaster or stereo... they read the instructions before they touched it... i just pressed buttons and handles just to see what happends (keeping it safe of course) and i never needed a manual. had it all figured out before they reached page 20. cause with reasoning you can get very far you know. to make it short:

a little simular is the mac vs. microsoft phenomenon. so many people use microsoft because they grew up with it (like me) and they say mean stuff about macs.. and allmost 90% of them dont own a mac or didnt even get a feel for it. they just fall for the same old myth's that are arround for years. i totally stopped buying M$ lies after vista and that not existing 'object recognition' BS on surface. getting a little to technical here..

maybe you dont know that germany (82M people) exist of 16 states on land as big as iowa. i just want to squeeze some of my opinion in here as a german that emigrated to the netherlands and is able to write quite understandable english (i hope). what ever.

Oil is what america needs more then it needed slaves in the past to keep up there growth. peak oil in america was in 1970, so now they go to iraq to keep there petrol prices low. america is based on oil. nothing would work without oil. so what would you do if you sit there and you know where to find oil.. as a good american .. you grab your weapon and defend your oilprices. 911=inside job!
i am very proud to live in europe. i have been to america. but i have been to france, itali, britan, belgium, switserland and germany of cause too. every country has its own "Country Dream" .. based on there culture and there land.
