lame! there was a vid posted here a little while ago that was way better and more informative. why would you show a simple trailer now? I would wager that anyone clicking this would expect you to be showing more shots of the show, not less.

Id wager he screamed because the girl was so scared about what happened that and she squeezed harder.

After seeing the X-Box Natal vid posted I thought these guys were lucky on their timing, but the precision here was incredible. Sales for these systems are going to come down to how well 3rd-party companies can create smooth playing games for these types of controls.

Awesome! The knights going at it in the centre was like 2 sumo wrestlers.
8. sp176 3 years ago on video New Zealand: 100% ours
New Zealand has one of those most fragile ecosystems on the planet. And the only reason humans survive there at all is by limiting their own population. Invasion....not an option.

12. sp176 3 years ago on video Magnet drops super-slowly through an eddy tube
#10 You need to read up on your Lenz law, because that doesnt describe influence of polarity. You are thinking of Faraday's law. It does not matter if the positive is facing up or down the tube, if the tube has no external emf applied.
Lenz's Law states that the induced emf and the change in Flux linkage has opposite directions.

Listen to the woman again and you will hear that the R&D cost 8 million, not the car.
14. sp176 3 years ago on video Magnet drops super-slowly through an eddy tube
@#3 a longer tube would only prolong the affect and would have no change in speed.
Bigger magnets would be counter-productive because magnetic strength is based by distance. For what you are thinking, you would need the copper tube and magnet to be closer, and to "fit" better.
As #4 points out this is ruled by Lenz law, and even a stronger magnet would be unable to counter the force of gravity because the coefficient of magnetism vs gravity will always be less than 100%. A stronger magnet (with same mass) will decrease the speed exponentially but never stop.
If you wanted to overcome gravity, you would need to apply an external emf to the copper tube.

I dont get it, these guys are moving slowly compared to any factory job Ive ever had. Their safety needs to be looked at, but a simple laser guard would probably do the trick. None of them wear hard hats either. Noise levels would be just the same as any other press so earplugs would be necessary.

21. sp176 3 years ago on video It's dominoes time!
Why even make stupid comments like that #(removed comment)? You know this is about dominoes from the title, you clicked the link, you watched it, then took the time to respond with a hurtful comment. Were you maybe expecting dominoes to wrap around the earth? What is your special talent? Please share with us your video.
Props to the guy who made this. He spent his energy on his own fun hobby.

Your right the guy on left stood there like a moron. But what about the reporter, he signs off like it's his job on the line. "I'm afraid nicky has fainted. Let's go back to the studio for a couple moments." Then he checks to see if she is okay.
25. sp176 3 years ago on video Bear vs. Trampoline
#6 Do you have another way of getting him down? Maybe you would suggest climbing up and coaxing him down nicely. Using the trampoline is a lot better than a straight fall out of the tree.

So explain how do the plates move one way, and then instantaneously move in the opposite direction?
32. sp176 3 years ago on video Urban hacker
It is possible to control switches for each individual light from a main control box with a computer hack, but only under one condition. Each light switch in each individual office has to be turned on first. If the wall switch is already turned off for the night, it cannot be turned on by a control box in the basement.
Still cool though.

34. Comment rated too low. Show this comment sp176 3 years ago on video Imagining the Tenth Dimension
So if our earth was rolled up like that newspaper, and we are like that ant walking around it, how do you get all the stuff in the middle?
Dimensions cannot be folded to create new dimensions. Each must be entirely independant of the others, which is why this theory will never have credibility.
Look at his diagram again when he folds the 2-D object to create his'3-D' object. At no point does he actually make a 3-D object, it still stays on the same plane. He just tells you so, and our imagination wants us to believe it.
Don't get me wrong, there are some good ideas here, but this is far from fact.

I live in a part of town nicknmed "birdland". So I deal with this all the time on my car, my deck, my laundry, etc. I usually get about 2-3 dead birds per year that try to fly through my windows too.
So, if I can offer a suggestion that I have learned through experience: Let it dry before cleaning.

Doesnt look like you can access the trigger while folded up, but I'm not sure.
Also, do you think this will pass security stations? It will just look like a solid box on x-ray. One more thing for customs to look for.
