They work together just like ants do, just not with queens or workers or such. Just a MASSIVE hunting cooperation, you might say.

But i also think that making really scary and evil things look silly is one of many ways to cope with such political problems.
Tho making fun of the past isnt a really great idea (especially that part of the past, in respect for the victims), it would be way better to make fun of nowadays Dictators.
Because all they want is to be taken seriously, either as Leader or Threat. Both gives them power and thats all they want. If Hitler was just laughed at by the germans back then and everybody thought he was just a big joke passing by, he wouldnt have had all that power and resources in his hands to start such a terrible war.
