these mexicans that do brick work where i work at do something similar to this with bricks..one will be on the ground with all the bricks while the other stands at 2 story hight and another at 3 story hight and they will toss 4 bricks at a time stacked on top each other to the one standing above..the bricks dont even move and they catch them perfectly stacked...but this is also a nice method to..
