He was brilliant in the Euro 2012 tournament, pity he didn't have a stronger team behind him. Yup, pure athleticism and superb field sense - that goal was a thing of beauty.

Ibrahimovic scored all of Sweden's four goals that game. Granted not all of them were solo goals like this one, but, you are right, if he had a stronger team behind him Sweden would be a force to be reckoned with.

Also, if it's not too much to ask... consider that people get excited about stuff you find boring... like if you survive a car crash... you would be elated and full of joy... while others wouldn't give a rat's ass.

But why am I explaining the concept of relative joys and preferences to you? I have a perfectly good wall I can teach faster...

Well, i don`t understand a lot of football but it seems to me that this goal is more a very good used opportunity then a great, great goal. Maybe another player wouldn´t be able to take so good use of this opportunity.. or maybe i´m just a soccer >:)

You really need to be drunk to "appreciate" football/soccer. One of the most boring/long sports you'll ever experience.

However it was a very nicely done goal. Would not have looked too good if he missed it tho.

He is in top 5 of world best football("soccer" for USA ppl) player. But should be in top 3, but is arrogant and impulsive attitude doesn't let him win individual trophies...
It needs a lot of agility, technic and goal instinct to perform something like that when you have 1,95 m (6 feet 4 inches) tall and weight 94 kg (207 lbs).
