It could be fake, easy entertainment for vast crowds.
But somehow I doubt it. Not that hard to do when you think about it.
i bet the mythbusters would like to see this video....they tried to bust the myth that its is impossible to split an arrow down the middle like robin hood did.
i bet this guy could do it!

That guy must've tried that at least a thousand times before he was finally able to get it.
A very lucky shot, but still, skill plays a big part in it.

CadpigLover - whether it is fake or not, I think you need a good lie down.
spook24 read what you said. mythbusters tested whether is was possible to SPLIT an arrow. this arrow wasnt split. it was just shot in between a hollow one.
and all the people who say this is fake or that he had thousands of tries. On that same episode of mythbusters they got a pro archor in and he hit the arrow like every 2nd attempt.
@Patriot - Have not seen the mythbuster eps mentioned above, but I've seen both archers and riflemen accomplish feats that ordinary people regard as impossible. So I believe that this archer may only need 2 or 3 attempts - at most
) An average guy could prolly do it in a handfull of hundred of attempts.

@Patriot
i know what the episode was about. ive seen it several times. what their problem was that they couldnt get the arrow to hit directly center of the other arrow. what im referring to is they could find out who this guy is and have him shoot an arrow at the other arrow and split it, as this guy can obviously shoot straighter than the machine they built to shoot an arrow straight or even the pro archer that attempted to try it. and learn to spell it archer not archor.

Noobeater all arrows are wobbly ...that's how they all fly
the longer carbon-fiber arrows look like bananas in the air ....thy bend like hell
Many, many, years ago I shot field archery. I "Robin Hooded" an aluminum arrow at 20 yards. Of course it was an accident. The arrow I hit, which was my own, pealed back in four equal pieces, as the arrow I shot went into it. I never did it again.
So it can be done.

It's not fake, you should see the Korean statistics on Archery in the Olympics.
Being an archer myself and judging by his form and his excellent equipment, I would say that he is an exceptional archer and this was no accident or lucky shot. My friend who won the US senior olympics gold metal in recurve archery was so good, he had to shoot every arrow on seperate targets to keep from runing his arrows. This is a common practice with good archers. In this case, the arrow sticking in the target was somewhat fatter than the arrow being shot at it. This was obviously intention...it also had a custom nock so that the end of it was open to receive the next arrow. At our local archery shop there is on display a triple "Robin Hood", three arrows, each splitting the privious one. Also, all arrows wobble in flight, you only see it in slow motion.

I'm willing to bet it took him more then 2 tries to do this. I've been bow hunting all my life shooting a bow with that accuracy isn't easy... One in a lifetime shot. Everything would play a factor there and to get an arrow into a whole that small would take some serious luck. Not that he's not good or anything, hes obviously got skill and knows what he's doing but there is limits to skill and no-one can disagree to that.
