Please people quit you're belly aching.
If you forget, it was the Taliban and Al Qaeda scum that flew planes into CIVILIAN buildings.

Don't cry to me about innocents (especially when you have NO facts about this particular strike).

How many innocents and civilians died on 9/11??? Almost 3000! This wasn't even a military target!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_September_11_attacks

Screw all of you Euro trash hippie's bashing my country for defending itself against these waste of a life terrorists.

Who contributes the most to AIDS relief?

Yeah that's right...

What about developement assistance???

Yeah that's right...

Oh and by the way, which of your backwards little countries are accepting MY tax dollars to help make YOUR life better? Here's your answer.

As far as I'm concerned the US should pull ALL it's money out of other countries and focus on our OWN economy instead helping to develop yours.

My comments will be voted down and frankly I don't care... I'm not here for for up votes today with all the crap coming out of your keyboards.

#19 don't forget to mention that your country led the world in its current depression.....

don't forget to mention that your country also does not respect the international court in the hague ( oh yes, they even threated to invade holland if any american soldier would be brought for juistice there ! )

you like wikipedia,,, let's quote : " Civilian deaths in Vietnam war
195,000-430,000 South Vietnamese civilians died in the war.[5][6] 50,000-65,000 North Vietnamese civilians died in the war.[5][7] It was difficult to distinguish between civilians and military personnel on the Viet Cong side since many dressed as civilians"

and yes, PLEASE get economically out of other countries, your place happily will be taken over by the stongest country in the word at this moment, china.

by the way your foreign aid numbers on wiki are 4 (FOUR) years old

quote : What about developement assistance???
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Official_Development_Assistance
Yeah that's right...
oh wow,,, 0.21% of the GNI which is the 5th lowest of the whole list mentioned there

bottom line,,, please don;t make a fool of yourself.
if you use numbers use recent ones and not from a little unpredictable source like wikipedia which are from 2008/2009 ;)

Dude I dont often log in to comment but you make me real sick.

Go read some facts about what happened on 9/11, and even if you dont belive its all bullshit (despite all the lies that has been said and proven false) you should count the civilian casualties there have been in Irak. 9/11 was about 3000, and if i dont remember wrong I think there has been over 100 000 civilian casualties in Irak, most of them killed on the streets and not on military targets so your argument goes right back at ya. And now we dont even count the number of people who has been forced to leave their homes.

Afghanistan is also a country you could keep in mind, same point. Vietnam aswell perhaps?

Your country preaches to spread their "democracy" around the world despite that people dont want it. Just look at the video posted here on Snotr a while ago;
http://www.snotr.com/video/10754/Wealth_distribution_in_US
Is that something you wanna spread to other countries? Inequality and struggle for the majority while the veeery few wipe their asses with wealth. Uuugh excuse me I gotta go and throw up...

@19 actually u seem to miss a lot of info apparently.. 9/11 wasn't done by some imaginary enemies but from your 'caring' government to make you abandon some more of your rights on privacy and liberty and in the meantime find the excuse to test some arsenal (huge income for your war industry) and get some oil (a lot of actually) from some underdeveloped east world countries.. ;)

Hey #20 How about some sources instead of you just spewing crap from your keyboard. Please show me how the US lead the world to depression. You trying to blame the US for Greece austerity measures?? Funny, my friend funny. I will give you this though... You are correct that the US had no business in Vietnam but I'll tall you what, while your pointing the one finger at us, look at the three pointing back at you. Find me one country in the world that hasn't made a mistake.
Oh and BTW... China???? LOL go ahead and take those Tienanmen Square college kid killing commies. Wow I can't believe you used China for your argument!!!

#21 and #22, Yeah I've seen all those conspiracy videos that the govt. staged 9/11. Honestly it's a bit of a stretch to base your argument on conspiracy theories. By the way, maybe aliens staged 9/11. One more thing #21 I watched the Wealth distribution in the US. That's called Capitalism my friend. You can come to this country and make billions if you have the drive and determination. Just ask my Scottish friend Andrew Carenegie who's steal literally built America. There's other incredibly successful and more recent immigrants but Carnegie was the first that came to mind.

Don't hate America because we accomplished more in 200 years than your's did in thousands.
Picture of imagic42 achievements

+2 24. imagic commented 11 years ago

hey #20 :) if china pulls back their money invested in the US your country is bankrupt within 24hours read some economical news :) and i have to agree, there isn't a country which never made a mistake, but the nature of the mistakes from the us are a little bigger than other countries most of the time . You will not hear me say china is the best place there is, far from that, but you might fear the moment they stand up eighter economically ( in which they have half the world by their balls nowday's ) or military, you might have some better equipment, but when they want to you will loose any war with them due to numbers, for every american there are at least 4 chinese (numbers from 2011, since last year the population grew 6% )

oh and don't hate europe because we dó have a history which you have not >:) I don't hate america for their history,, ( hey, we dutch people set up new york remember :) )I do hate some of it since some americans think they are the boss of the world, which they clearly ain't ( in some cases i would say amerika tries to be the dictator of the world )

Look #24 I love all the other countries of the world and the different cultures and styles but I also take immense pride in the country I live in. I don't disagree that my govt is involved in some terrible subversive efforts and doing things in countries we have no business doing, but don't fault the US people for some of our idiot leaders. We aren't ignorant to the rest of the world out there... Well, not all of us anyway :)

By the way, Holland's on my list of countries to visit someday, now I just need to work on my money situation to support my "world vacation"

#12 & #22 OIL? The oil that has been recently discovered in Afghanistan,( by Canadians),is being taken by the Chinese...the same country that got all the oil from Iraq by buying it on the open market.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/10/21/us-afghanistan-oil-idUSBRE89K08G20121021

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/29/world/middleeast/29iraq.html?_r=0

#24 If there was a land bridge between China and the US then we would be hard pressed to stop an invasion because of numbers....but we can damn sure shoot down or sink any effort by them to send troops this way.Plus we can park a couple aircraft carrier strike groups off their coast and annihilate them. Not to mention our nuclear sub fleet could do it all by itself.
And Vietnam? Most civilian deaths were caused by NVA and Viet Cong punishing the South Vietnamese people for fighting to help the US and other countries that were there to fight communism.

#21 Far more civilians have been killed in Iraq by Al Qaeda and the Taliban than by all of NATO's forces.
But most of you don't care about facts, just finger pointing. :|

LOL. Yes of course you would. And the Chinese would probably not notice your ships were there and not bother to send a collection of missiles to reduce them to scrap.

When Yanks get all patriotic and aggressive, their weak grasp of reality comes to the fore and they just sound stupid.

Pretty sure this is the result of 'freedom fighers' barging their way into the house of innocent people to hole up and hide after committing their own atrocities. You know, like shooting a 15 year old girl in the head for having the audacity to want to attend school.

Any of you defending the actions of the Taliban need to have your heads examined. Granted, the US has made a number of mistakes that resulted in civilian casualties, and yes, I acknowledge the fact that it makes the US look bad on the world stage, but, here's a thought...don't declare war on the US if you don't want shitty things to happen to you and your people; it's called war for a reason. It's not a surgical walk in the park.
Picture of ImprsdBySmartVid29 achievements

Zebulon, etplayer: I'm not an american citizen, and probably I'll never be an american citizen. Your country issues about poverty, Wall Street and excessive investments in military stuff are well-known all over the world. But also honest people knows it's also your country, after independence from Britain which made a definitive peace with indians peoples, which build a great country then (industry, cars and planes, big cities with skyscrapers, global enrichment of everyone in your country, ...), which send men to the Moon, which win so many Nobel Prizes, which deliver Europe from nazis and fascist, and maybe also from communists, and the list is to be continued...

I'll never forget how haters like Mohammed Merah in Toulouse (France) kills innocent children and a father in a school less than a year ago. That's a real civilian targeting, that's a act of terrorism. Then that hater repeat "Allah Wakbar" ("God is Great";) a hundred times ad nauseum, and pretend having made something good. That shitty coward killed also some unarmed young military men, a few days before. We have no free circulation of guns in France, but we have killing in schools because of the haters whose ideology is close to most of american haters. And I should recall that many of these haters are jailed by the french police just before the beginning of theirs acts. These haters are many, the war is not close to be ended. Don't hope it will end with the withdrawal from one of their training country, Afghanistan... Don't forget Madrid bombings and London bombings, the end is not close.

These terrorists will attack China soon or later, and China will NEVER withdraw from their countries of origin then. And this will be the end of islamic terror, and the very beginning of a long prosperity era for the world.

Civilians are always effective targets in war or war-like conditions. (This due to a large psychological and logistical effect. Ethics are often forgotten by people and entities (armies, companies, groups) angry, power-hungry or otherwise driven enough.) Many civilian casualties in a lot of the middle-east conflict zones are due to internal strife, in addition to external forces.

As for the US - it's not really relevant in the end, humanity has different goals depending on who you are and what/who you're affiliated with. (We're different. Xenophobia exists.) As long as we are humans, there'll be fighting, don't live in the illusion that there's some political agenda causing the US to be the world's warmongers - because they aren't to any extent others aren't. Of course there are entities that benefits from war and conflict - but that is the case wherever you are.

Death follows humanity because of what we are, not what country we live in, or what religion we follow. Those are mere excuses we use.

So sick of both the ridiculous anti-US statements and all contraries - people fail to see the problem, and are just looking for scapegoats for humanity. (It's easy to blame the US, or the Al-qaeda, when the problem is inherent with the entire human race, and you want to feel better by putting blame on an entity that is very easy to blame.) We're all human, we're all contributors to war and conflict. Whether we like it or not.

You can see evidences of it everywhere, from pre-school bullying, to world wars - but also more subtle ways, like politics (that may indirectly hurt and kill) or any role/work with power over others.

The only way to end conflict would be to overcome humanity (evolve, transcend) - and that's way beyond our grasp as the world stands today. I'm not religious and see no possibility for this today. We can only hope we overcome it before it overcomes us.

And if it were not for Americans and Brits in 2003, several million Iraqi people would still be alive right now.
Picture of ImprsdBySmartVid29 achievements

+2 35. ImprsdBySmartVid commented 11 years ago

@Kendo885: A rapid internet search lead me to think "several million" is a ten times exaggeration. And the vast majority of the deaths are indirect consequences, mainly by the release of islamic terrorism between Sunnis and Shiites. When there was under the bloody dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, only the iraqi police and military could kill people and they do kill Kurds by thousands (182 000 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurdish_people#Iraq). Does the civil wars and islamic empowerment all over the muslim countries like Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Syria and Iran are the USA fault? Does the 70 000 deaths in today war in Syria are the USA - or Russia - fault?

I do think the credo which give an external cause to the permanent civil and religious wars inside muslims people is poisonous "gift" made to them. This wrong "analysis" will only lead to more and more deaths and losses of freedom in muslims countries first, in christian countries then (because the costs of these wars is HUGE), and, on the middle term, to other developed countries like China, when they'll be forced to invade and occupy these damn lands of petrol and Islam.
