If you keep playing it from 0:33 you can see the guy in the black tank, that he definitely throws something. You see it pass by the engine pretty clearly if you're looking for it. I can't explain the video, but I feel like it's fake off of a few reasons:
- Whatever he throws might be a trigger to the explosion in some way.
- They have a delayed reaction to the explosions when they decide to dive in the water.
- A bit too coincidental with the whole camera panning and zooming at the right times.
What do you guys think? I call it fake... in some way...

The guy in the back of the boat was using something like Starting Fluid.
This is highly flammable. And he was overdoing it.

Starting fluid is useful for getting a stubborn carburetor going. You're suppose to spray a little bit of it directly into the intake. That guy was filling pretty much all the empty space under the motor covering with the stuff, and it exploded.
This trend of "I don't know what happened, so somehow it's a fake" really needs to stop. The only thing suspicious here is that it was being recorded at all. But these days, that's really not all that suspicious - people record the smallest of things routinely, now that virtually every cell phone is a camcorder.

And why did they even film this, is it a tv-show? There are more people on the location, but noone is saying anything after the explosion. And why did the guy in the left, not visible, also jump into the water? Watch how that guy is placing his foot in the beginning, looks like he is prepared to jump. Can it all be setup for a tv-show with hillbillies and this is supposed to be a funny intro, and the rooster sound is a part of the tv-show?

If you guys calling it fake would turn up your speakers you will hear one guy @ 0:24 say "use the bug spray because it is flammable" and @ 0:30 "it is redneck ether". There was no firecracker,it is just what can happen when you load an engine up with "starting fluid".
