Same level of facilities as when I was in school in UK. Just a shallow sandpit to land in, none of the 2 metre thick sponge beds you see today.

I'll be honest, Davorin; I've got absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Regarding the jumping - it's very impressive. I've always thought the 'standard' Fosbery flop seemed a bit imperfect. Having to turn your body and change direction while trying to throw yourself over the bar seems a little counterintuitive. Perhaps these Kenyans are on to something.

These guys jump high ... if they had training and technique... they would certainly beat the world record (245 cm) or 8 ft 0 1/4 in.... I guestimate the height of the bar at around 200 cm or approx 6 ft 6 in.... don't get me wrong... they have a natural talent that could take them to the stars ...(pun intended)
