I'm not sure if that was incredibly brave....or incredibly foolhardy, considering he could have so easily been trapped by the fire. Whichever the case I'm just glad it worked.

#4 The problem with your statement is that it seems to me there's an assumption the govt. or fire service personnel will help resolve the problem. I think that IS the problem. All of us waiting on "officials" to fix an issue. That's just how the govt. likes it. Rely on them for everything instead of being self sufficient.

#5, #11 I am a farmer. This individual was discing down unharvested soybeans. The tracks perpendicular to the tractor are from previous trips across the field from a spray rig during the growing season. Later applications break the plant when ran over, leaving a track. If you look at the video with 16 seconds remaining, you can see he or she exits the standing crop into the harvested area of the field. NOT "just a stubble fire."
