Carlsberg is too bitter for my taste, I prefer czech budweiser or pilsener urtyp.
becks is also great.

Many years ago while repairing the super coolers on a German fishing fleet 'mother ship' called the "Seafreeze Atlantic" I was given a beer by the ship's captain. The beer label said 'Carlsberg Pilsner Danish Beer'. It was in a short,fat dark green bottle and was fairly high in alcohol content,judging by the way it hit me. I have had some of the other Carlsberg beers in the taller bottles,but none were as good as the one the ship captain kept as his private stock.
Any one recognize that description?
