If there Government was not so corrupt they would have the money to fix there own problems as aid money go to the selected few and the masses do without.
The aid money would be better spent in our own country's fixing our own problems.

#(removed comment) I can't help but sense arrogance in your post. Your use of 'our country' implies that everyone reading your comment resides in your country. It's a pretty unfair assumption to make. Perhaps a more considered possessive pronoun might be 'my'.
Secondly, we know there are economic and social issues in the US, as there are in every country. Did you ever think that this film was perhaps made by someone in India, someone actively trying to raise awareness and work towards a better situation. Your dismissive comment serves only to highlight your ignorance. Perhaps you could lead by example and do something about your country's issues that you feel are so much more important than everyone else's, rather than putting down others efforts.
The ill-effects of your country's issues are no more or less relevant than anyone else's. Unfortunately you're living up to the misplaced stereotype that Americans think that America is the centre of the universe, and that non-US issues are somehow less important.

So this video is designed to encourage the viewer to provide funds to the charity to send to India?
No thanks.
India has a fuckin' space program for Christ's sake! Let them get their priorities right and look after their population. I wouldn't give them a cent.
... oh and #(removed comment). If your country didn't spend so much on building its military might, it would have plenty of cash to sort out the other problems.

#5: But consider, for exmaple the issue of homeless people. It's in EVERY country.
Governments have different programs as they are necessary to imporove the economy of the country.
A country shouldn't feel bad for having a space program.
Of course it's mostly the government's fault to not care about these people in the video - but do YOU choose not to give a homeless person a few dollars every month or so when you walk by one? Do you say "no" because you feel the government should do it? Of course you don't - you give money to the person, because it's in our human nature to help those who need it.
You don't give them a cent, okay.
Imagine them. They don't have the power or voice to fight for their needs; obviously the government don't either - it is down to people like Mr Madiath in the video and others now - clearly you don't wanna be part of it, that's fine it's great you shared it; however this video is not for you, you can quietly walk away now. and shut the fuck up.

Forgive me but this seems so basic I find it hard to understand how people in villages don't make it happen.

#6. A country should definitely feel bad about spending billions on a space program when the majority of its population don't even have the basic necessities of life.
I wouldn't give any money to a homeless person I see in the street, and the reason? Because he is not my responsibility.
Oh and, shut the fuck up yourself, shit-for-brains.
