yeah wright! i call this fake! let's say this soft is good enough to shape all the 3d models but what about the background? how can they fill the missing parts of the background? i know photoshop does something like that , but even photoshop(an editing image soft) can't fill the missing parts ..and this 3d modeling one can? just look the background fills are perfect after they start to bend and move objects....so FAKE tehnology from my perspective

Wow very nice.. will bring 3d printing to a new level by making kinda accurate 3d models just by using photos without having the physical item with you. @3 m8 1:14 says it's using a patchmatch algorithm as filler. Seems true if u examine all examples closely

#3 They talk about the backgrounds. This level of pattern matching is in photoshop. Works well in some cases. Just mark out what you want removed from the photo and it will fill the background in. Messes up sometimes and you can see that it messes up here in some places, like in the church where the steps are wonky afterwards. The background filling algorithm is real, as for the rest, I dont know.
