Let me think... Mices can do that, Dogs can do that but... Cats cant or wont do that... i dont get that whole evolution... :(

The difference is that dogs and wolves are lead in packs. Which include male followers and therefore dogs are tolerant to their master.

But cats and lions are lead by a single male having a harem. Meaning that lions don't tolerate other males in their group. Therefore cats won't tolerate any master other than their mate.
