You cannot change human nature, you are not fighting civilization. Civilization is just the reflection of human nature, so all the crap that is wrong with society is not a problem of the natural world, it is us.

#8 : now that's a paradox, stop it now or the world will collapse in a one point singularity !
What's difference between snotr and other sites like this one is the selection of videos and the users that are able the think by themselves. The community, yet small, is great and fun.
Snotr has some really interesting videos, point of views. Alright some of them enter in Frank description but what he tended to forget in his speech is that we are human and we are social beeing.
Having fun watching something is good, it's the excess that is bad.
And that excess may vary between people
So anyway the answer is as simple as : have fun in your life and live it to the fullest

Even this comments section is what Frank is talking about and he's right. The other day I write the word brilliant as the first comment on a snort video and got more likes than anyone else! Why because I was the first one to make a comment. At the top of this one we have cameramaster who at the point of typing had 17 likes for saying that Frank is his Hero. Isn't it all crap

#14 There is no connection between being open-minded and being religious. Quite the opposite in fact, since a religious leaning indicates a certain detachment from reality engendered largely by a fear of death.

The "oh no you didn't say that generation" comment underscores what is truly happening in western society. Everyone is so influenced by the media, they can't see it. Our entire value system has become based on what goes viral on YouTube, up-voted on Reddit, and every "reality" TV show. In the very next scene, Frank is fired for sexual harassment for giving the receptionist a book. She interprets that as him hitting on her. He was just being friendly. It's a fact that being friendly over 50 can get you into deep trouble. The freedom of speech remark drives the argument home by his being accused of harassment. It's already lost socially in western society. When a man has to be cautious that a simple smile or polite comment to a woman or a child makes him a pervert, that's paranoia. All these perceptions are fed on by the media because fear sells. And the media is all about pandering fear and superficial entertainment.

Then in turn, those nameless faceless people that are the "media" are just people like me and you, in fear of their jobs, who watch the ratings everyday and hope some big company wants to sell more and is giving the tv station more money for ads. So you get a tv program that has the constant fear of doing something different, since it might lower the ratings and all you get is the same shit in 122 different ways, just with more sex, more violence, more shock.
