Another really neat but useless skill that I don't have the time or the patience to learn.

He says right at the beginning that he'd pre-laid it out with a stabilo pencil. HOWEVER...that does not take away the difficulty of DOING it, I can do Old English lettering, but for whatever weird reason i simply cannot master roundhand, and if you think its easy...lets see some of your work !

The only thing he 'pre laid out' was the lines to denote the baseline, the top of the letters and the top of the highest points. there was no predrawn letters or tracing done as others think.
Skills like this have been overtaken by computers. But the beauty of this style of work is that it is not 'perfect' each letter is very slightly different, each vehicle sign-written is unique..
A true craftsman at work!
