Try as I might, I can't imagine what would go through your head in this circumstance

I tried to post this myself...somehow i screwed it up...I'm pleased somebody did it properly though.Imagine being that diver and your down there among the dead bodies...then something grabs your hand...not a good thing to happen when your in a diving suit!..Awesome that Harrison managed to keep his head the whole time..RESPECTS!

The cook is always the last survivor! #stevenseagal

Seriuosly though, huge kudos to that man for staying sane for so long. It's impossible to imagine his situation and how one would deal with it. Just _trying_ to think about it shorts my mind. Respect, chef!

Nearly three days in the dark, trapped in a bubble.
And then suddenly come to your rescue divers. What a relief
for the ship's cook, and his family. :)

He was lucky to have some energy reserves in his body. Must be cold in water like that.

It is reported that Harrison,a Christian, recited the bible verses from the last psalm his wife had sent by text message: "Oh God, by your name, save me. ... The Lord sustains my life."

"The rest of my life is not enough to thank God for this wonder, it is incredible," Harrison told a Nigerian newspaper.

Rescue diver was super calm and professional. Nightmare for the poor guy, glad he made it out.

Classic of the day, and i had to watch it again. This video still gives me the goosebumps. I don't know why, but the part where he asks for his name, and he tells his name back to him, something about that part is really emotional to me. And the end comment, (im no expert, but sounds south african?) "YOURE A SURVIVOR!", i love that part, they are so happy to find this guy.

That is just something else, I'm guessing he was tapping on the metal work around him and hearing noises from the rescuers, giving him hope for quite a while before they found him.
