He must have been fired for not taking his job seriously. I mean a server rack cost money plus the problem he caused to make the server go offline.

Considering the prize of hardware these days, and the amount of money you make in the computer business, this probably wasn't that expensive for the poor sap.. Unless the site(s) sued him for the down-time or something.. ![]()
Hahahaha, I love it... I know this guy and he's way more quaified to do this job, but after 34 hours working on these servers, something is bound to go wrong.

The difference between a normal system administrator and a computer engineer perhaps?
A engineer would probably have planned for this in the months before.. You know, like brought a ladder, or a just a chair without wheels.. ![]()
@wowizowi, qualified? How the hell is this guy qualified? He is kneeing on a swivel stool with wheels to work on a rack. He is not qualified to work at McDonald as far as I see it.
gergf, you're right, he's definitely not qualified to work at McDonalds, and I'm sure that's as far as you can see it. If you knew the systems and networks he’s built over the last 10 years, you could see past his ’15 minutes of fame’ here on this site and after being up for 2 days. Anyway, it is pretty funny!!!

Well, atleast he didn't drop the whole server farm in a dominos effect. That would have been hilarious, but unfortunate.
