Whilst it looks cool and all. You still need people to manually lay the paving stones in the correct order / pattern, as well as cut them down to size to fit. And it looks like this is the biggest hold up in the process.

Is this huge expensive machine really saving time over laying them down on the ground directly?

#1 I expect it makes a whole lot easier to go in a straight line. I agree that it's crying out for some kind of robotic sorter at the top to lay the bricks out.

This machine is fantastic. Having done some of this myself, I think the worst part is getting up to get more bricks, carrying them, sitting on the floor or twisting your back in a terrible position. This machine avoids all of these. I loved it!

Great idea and great machine it simple and that takes the back breaking labor out of it. Love brick roads, last forever, will forgive the uneven with age, but not the fact they are slicker than greased lighting with snow/ice on them.

#4 I suspect that you've never laid paving stones either. If you had you'd know that 99% of the work is in the preparation, ie. making sure the surface is perfectly flat, even and compacted. Afterwards, laying the stones, slabs or whatever is piss easy.

The edges of the stones are mostly damaged.

Nice, although it's probably not a road for vehicles. More like a town square, sidewalk or a park path.

I love this music! they should use it for other mundane labor jobs too & make a cut scene of one of the workers humming to the tune before the music drops back in :P
