Fail.It was not that funny. Gordon did not loose it. Although Ant & Dec was acting silly, Gordon kept it together.

"Here comes Juanny!"

the axe part was funny. #1 oh, he was a bit freaked out, why do you think he was calling for his assistant Jen all the time? Cause he was silently panicking and he didn't want to be there, he was upset, trust me ;)

Can't stand that friggin' guy. Don't know why people like him so much. There is almost nothing in this world that's important enough to act the way he does. Certainly not cooking.

Is this what counts for entertainment now in the UK?

"there is *nothing* that's important enough to act the way he does"

#3 how about *cooking* if that is the core of his business that ultimately determines the profit, rating, image and reputation of said business?

How about *anything* can be important enough for a person if that thing is the core of their business?

You certainly regard cooking as inferior to other professions - if he was like that due to stress as an agent involved in stock exchange, you'd say it's justified.
What if the same (or more) money is involved in Gordon's business(es)? What if he has to strive for excellence to be among the top restaurants, therefore any small mistake can put him out of business?
Now tell me the difference
