Its an 80 foot pole, the black tape is the 70 foot mark, im a lineman for my local gas and electric company, just your average telephone pole. the way he comes down is very unsafe but some people do it

I've worked with deforesting a while back, and I've climbed trees with hooks like that. I tell you, it's not as easy as it looks. Well, the principle is easy, and the technique is easy to get down, but damn, you'll be sore in the morning.
