#3 you're right: 6 months at room temperature, 18 months if you keep it in the fridge.

#4. Reading some comments from Amazon purchasers of this, it appears to be more like: 3 months at room temp, and 6 months in the fridge (maybe).

Once you open the pack you have to use the lot or discard what's left over.

I doubt I'll ever buy any.

Just go to a DIY-shop and buy a tube of cheap silicone. I guess that stuff has the same potential as sugru. Silicone is a bit liquid when it's not dry though...

I could possibly use it for fixing my stove handles, cheap plastic broke off years ago. However I wouldn't be surprised if this is quite expensive...
