A person doing something nice without it being for their own ego. Nice job.

I hope they let the guy pick his own furniture!
And house too, for that matter.

#2 Sometimes I think it's best to just buy out what the person needs, or else he might spoil it on other stuff. Just sayin.

I am just thinking. It seems that they didn't buy him a home since he said one year. Plus, there is no way they can buy a home with just $40k. All of that is temporary. The best thing they could have done for him is to get him a job. But other than that, he did certainly need a home to stay otherwise it would be hard to move from place to place even after getting a job.

#7 Did you even listen/watch? After the (fake) 1k lottery win he found a job by himself. The fundraiser gave him this home for 1 year..rent paid. (11k $)..cash in gift cards for any kind of stuff..and 20k on a monitored bank account. (Wich means 2 years of additional rent)
He got a job by himself..got a roof over his head for min. 1 year and some extra gift cards for food and appliances..plus 20k on a monitored account..thats either 2 years additional rent or stuff he needs..all monitored.
Yes..i repeated myself..
If that guy cant make it with a home and 20k on the bank..then nobody will..
So where is your problem?

I have a suggestion but I don't know how to get it to this guy. I live in Indiana and just bought a repo in a good neighborhood for $17,500. Its value is around $50,000. $11,000 is rent money down the toilet. You can buy houses all day long right now for far less than $44,000 and have equity on day one.The banks were repoing homes at the rate of 300,000 per month for 3 years. They are everywhere.Does anyone know where this is?

This is truly my all time favorite video. What an honorable young man to take his time and compassion and dedicate to such a needed cause... This brings hope back into humanity, and I know there are more individuals like Sizzlik out there...
Thank you for such a descriptive and well documented video on you kindness and compassion for others.
It was truly blessed by the gratitude and realism of emotions from the homeless man who seems to be getting more out of this then a home. He mentioned he had a job, if I heard correctly, which means it has touched him to motivate him to try to change his life with efforts of himself to show his gratitude and love of his new friendship and I hope he continues his journey and truly is blessed with the kindness of others... <3 :)
