I mean really! How long before the reason the watch was made fades into insignificance and you just use it to tell the time

$330.000 for a mechanical watch (read no battery and no microcontroller/computer) which is precise enough to compute the ephemeris of six planets makes sense, given the features, the precious metals and the precious rocks everywhere on it.
