There is nothing quite like the rabid enthusiasm of college students cheering on their team
against another college. The show and pageantry is overwhelming.

Sooooo college sports aren't this popular in other countries?

This is pretty normal in the US for all college sports but (American) football is probably the biggest and most popular.

I'm not in the slightest bit interested in the game there here or anywhere but I do think Stephen Fry is absolutely brilliant. He's the kind of guy I'd like as a best mate. :)

In Sweden there is no college sports whatsoever. The closest thing is the sports in highschool where there are teams from each school in some sports, but it have absolute no interest from the public.

All this for a school game? Elsewhere you'd be pleased if all the parents showed up to watch them play at the school pitch or local sports center.
