First off, this is 100% fake. Second, what's the difference between a fake cat killing and a fake human killing? Hollywood pumps that shit out daily.

Does anyone remember watching "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"?
I am of course talking about the rabbit scene, where the most "foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on" decapitates Tim, one of Arthur's loyal men. The first time I saw this scene I nearly poo'd out my large intestine, I was laughing so hard.
On another interesting note: I read "60 seconds with Jean-Claud Van Dam" in the Metro the other day. Apparently he hasn't been able to get work in the past 3 years because action films are no longer being made. Initially our media was believed to be too violent and now we've over compensated and our media has become far too PC (parental choice), and well, boring!!
I do think this video is a little distasteful, and well, morbid. And while this is perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, I do find it hard to believe that as a video, be itself, it could cause serious psychological trauma!!!
What I would say in conclusion, is that if you don't like it, DON'T WATCH IT!!!
