Planetary exploration makes me a bit scared. What if they start to repoduce and become intelligent after some weird accident?
We could give them a base code or first guide line "serve and protect the Human race at all cost" as a fail safe

#2 Asimov's laws of robotics would be better.
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law

#3 I'd like this to be true, i really want it... but the years to come battlefields are not going to be pretty.

More and more drones and automated systems, from the ground robots or even a F-16 that can take off and land by itself and be flown at distance if needed.

The F-16 also included tests on the AMAS (Automated Maneuvering Attack System) technology from as early as 1984 to 1997 which would place the aircraft into attack position and limit pilot involvement (including objective tracking et area scanning help).

I'm pretty sure they just need to add some AI to push the firing button if it's not already done (X-47B maybe ?)
I just hope our future maid robots won't be equipped with the same software bases
