Hopefully some Chinese manufacturer will see this, duplicate the process on the mass production scale and sell it to IKEA so I can buy it for $100. I really like it and there is no way I can afford to have it custom made.

What's the liquid he applies in the end? Varnish?

#2 wax oil, you can tell by how softly he applies it, and how it deepens the dark wood colour.

#1, not to talk about something 'completely' different, but I have a drawing and I would have been p****d off if I saw a similar drawing elsewhere. That's because I would feel that the drawing didn't belong to me alone, and that's one of the key values to it.
