Don't cop cars carry dashcams as standard? Even if front-facing they would give a good idea of the speed and direction of the car.

People in Canada are so apathetic and docile, cops can do this sort of thing all day long without any fear of repercussions. I've seen enough similar cases and they all end the same way, the cops that are under investigation get a paid suspension, then receive a warning and go back to work.

In the Netherlands, bikes can drive any direction on a road, even if it is closed to one direction for cars.

"OK"

Thump-thump

"I think there is something wrong with the car, I heard a 'thump-thump'."

"No, it was something in the road. Let me pull ahead and see if you hear it again, eh?"

Thump-thump

"Yep, definitely something in the road; that was the same spot we heard it before."
