Now that I have watched the video, I conclude that it's shit. I am glad that I invested the time in my original two comments, but following that the time invested in viewing the video was a waste of 106 seconds of my life that I will never get back. I feel empty and desolate

PC != Windows... come on guys, make some sense here. Linux can run on PC's as well, n00bs. They should have called it: Windows vs Mac vs Linux, in which case the video was still utter crap, but at least it made more sense than it does now

As said before, have som god damn patience! Videos aren't published the second they're submitted..

And another good tip is to read the FAQ before submitting anything.. We get a lot of garbage videos which aren't family safe or interesting for other than the one person who made it (videos of your new dog is in 90% of the time only interesting to you).. And besides, even if it gets approved it can still go weeks or in some cases even months before it reaches the front page..

that's not true every video i submitted was put on the website after a few days not weeks or months.....DAYS! prolly 4 at the most. its not like there's 2,000 people waiting for food. its a website with videos. each video is what??? roughly 1:30 minutes long? and dont worry about number here. I said roughly. and for argument reasons your not going to tell me anything different so save it.

Maybe Aliquantulus said months because he's the only person reviewing the submitted videos? Who has the time to watch twenty videos a day, that has a real job anyways?

No, I said months cause at least once a video was in the queue for at least a month.
You see, the moderators (we're a big funny smartass team) sort through all the garbage videos so the admins (they do the heavy lifting) won't have to watch a shitload of videos of you playing the piano like a two-year-old.. Then the videos are in a queue before the admins get to them, maybe edit them a little bit, and then publishes them on the front page. And at least sometimes (like the tounge-talking-cat) a video gets left in the queue for over a month. Sometimes = On rare occations.
Usually videos are posted (if approved by us fun-loving-moderators) on the front page within a couple of days after they have been submitted.
But yes, you probably know better than me when it comes to this shit.. Right?

@Maffis @Mooz the negative comments are probably what is sometimes reffered to as "trolling" i.e. leaving negative comments just to get the attention their mothers never gave them. the video's rating is probably good because people think it's funny.
note: Linux does almost everything this movie says it does not, I don't use Linux to edit movies, so I'm not sure there are any end-userable programs for that, some games also do not work in Linux, but thats like trying to play PS3 games in an XBox.
I think its funny how the Windows guy asks if Linux can "open Excel spreadsheets" as if that were the only kind (the answer is yes, Linux programs can open Microsoft Excel spreadsheets)
