The nautical equivalent of lowering the air pressure in tires to go under a low bridge :-) Nicely done!

There's not a lot of room to spare. Very nicely done, skipper!
He's got an ace up his sleeve as insurance: if he decides there's not enough room (around 1:30) then he can make a tight u-turn to starboard (that'll be to the right for you landlubbers) to move the masthead back and away from the bridge.

This maneuver was done on the eastern US Intracoastal Waterway using two tons of water. The balls get filled and then swung out with an initial turn to port or starboard. The tendency then is for the roll to continue by itself, but is controlled by letting the bags out slowly with a control-line made off to each bag and running each to a winch in the cockpit. I jet skied on that waterway for many years and it is amazing to see how some of the tall boats get under bridges.
