Gift wrapping in Japan

The Japanese have a special way of gift wrapping. They use a big piece of paper that they fold in a special way, so as to use only one piece of tape to hold everything together. Not only is it practical, it is also very beautiful!

That would be 3 pcs. of tape 0:06, 0:27 and 0:54. Nice job BTW, so much patience. Another fine example of Asian Level. :D

Nothing special here... Really. I was expecting something more like "origami".
We pack in a very similar way by ourselves before every Christmas in Europe.

All very well but half the presents people wrap aren't a perfect box shape. I'll like to see how they wrap a heart shaped box or some random stuffed parrot. >:)

#3 I dissagree, our "european" way is the same as how most of the world wrap gifts, we just do regular folds. The example in the video is more origami than our way of wrapping.

Incidentally this video was used by H.R in the dismissal of this worker who was caught wrapping his Christmas presents when he should have been working. ;)
