Need to escape from zombies? Get in your car and drive.
Need to escape from zombies and show-off, risk breaking your neck, doing needless and idiotic jumps flips and rolls? Do parkour.

#3 I like to agree with you binary person you know I do, but I have to say this was really exciting. Also could I ask the parkour people out there, because you are definitely the most experienced lot I could possibly ask, if it's safe to walk on the flat roof of my double garage, only I have a leak and a moss build up problem. I won't need to jump on as I have a ladder

#3 it would be common sense unless, as far as i know, in a post apocalyptic world there would be no car running just because gasoline is un-store-able after 6 months. it pretty much loses its burning quality. and electricity or hydrogen has its own problems. so most likely we would turn back to horses or run&hide old fashion to survive.

That is the most hilarious thing I have ever heard. It might not be at its optimum after a few months, but I think a car would still start and run, and outrun a zombie.

Awesome clip. I just didn't expect zombies to have that sort of mobility or dexterity.
#9 Old petrol might work ok in an older car, but newer models might end up stalling and not working so well. Either way, say you do get the car started, you'll have a bigger problem navigating the streets in a city with all the abandoned cars blocking the streets.

#9 i just did 10 min of googleing and found some products to keep fuels storable longer. http://theepicenter.com/tow021799.html and i m quoting from this,
"Diesel fuels fare a little better, but not much. Most all diesel fuel, including the EPA's mandated low sulfur version, has shelf life of from 3-to-6 months."
calling a statement hilarious is childish imho

I have always thought the premise of zombies is dumb and fast zombies even more dumb.
#12 Agreed.
http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/2668/why-does-gasoline-go-stale-so-quickly
Gasoline will become harder to ignite over time. The flash point will drop and the engine will miss ignitions. The gas will develop bits of jelly that clogs fuel systems.
Everybody forgets about bicycles. In a post apocalypse world bicycles will become the transportation mode of choice.

Forget the cars and the fuel issues, at 1:07 there are more bicycles that he would ever need to escape
