I'm a Swede and I know about this but during all my years I've never actually heard it being used. I guess it depends on where in Sweden you are. I believe the actual word is "Jopp" from Japp, which means "yes".

Works in Finnish too! "juu" which is pronounced a little bit like english word "you"
Guess this is something we learned from you Swedes, or maybe other way around ;)

(i) Our capital City's slang is joked (and is, if you ask me) to be like; Take a word from Swedish-language, make it sound like English and mix it with Finnish = Stadin slangi :D

So "yes" in the Swedish language would be
1. very hard to say out loud or very hard to shout out
2. no way to say it sarcastically...
A boy is having sex for the first time with an experienced woman from a male's bar...
Boy: I don't seem like im fucking at all. Are you still a virgin?
Woman: Yes?
3. confusing... if you are in an area and you hear a soft "shoo", you will not know if someone is eating soup or someone is giving a blowjob.
