Seems to me like it might have been easier to slide them in vertically, flip them horizontal and jack them up in place?

Tune in next week, when they'll be pouring the concrete for the building's foundations.

Wow! Felbermayr has some impressive tools http://www.felbermayr.cc/ but I'd still like to know how did they get the crane up on those stacks? It's not like it has an eyelet on top for lifting it.

These beams do not look like that they are 'heavy'. Aluminum!

#9 Who claimed that they are heavy? And even made of alu..a beam of that size is sure not leightweight

#9 & #10 They are precast hollow-core prestressed concrete deck slabs.
That is most likely a parking garage as that type of material is
commonly used for that purpose. They are much lighter than solid slabs
and yet have great load-carrying capacity.

look .. i'm an architect.. i don't need examples.. you can build a brick garage, concrete garage, metal garage, carved in stone garage... (as for construction) it can be clad in titanium, glass, carbon fibre..... actually i dont think nobody needed this sort of patronizing... you can do what ever you fucking want with a garage.. i just think this is not a garage
what ever you choose to park your car in is a garage :)

#16 Being an architect I am surprised you did not recognize those hollow core concrete
deck planks for what they are since they are used all over the world by building contractors.
Just what do YOU think is being built in the vid? :)
