great sport? how is making fun of other people beliefs fun? how different is it from the religious people when they made fun of scientists? one day science people will start exterminating religions people and you guys will find it hilarious?
cant we live in a world where every one is respected apart from his beliefs?
after all it can only make since to each individual once they are dead

well no#5 the answer to your questions is no.
belief itself is making you feel better or different from the person that believes in sth else, and that is .. well.. by definition (in most religions) building intolerance, and even hate (sometimes fear) .. which in the end can produce war
(Jihad, Crusade wars, Milkhemet Mitzvah ) .. i could go on forever
If you analyze history , the answer would be no.
Two main historical reasons for warfare are greed and religion (or may i say nationalism) - the fear of the different
Mainly it's the manipulation of the masses (to gain profit), but sometimes it's just pure personal frustration and fear directed towards somebody different ( and the difference is produced with religion , nationalism, racism... )
we can't all go to iss and feel what Chris Hadfield is talking about so maybe we should just try and listen to those people and open up a bit

#5 you are a colossal moron. The religious have in fact, many times throughout history exterminated men of science for not believing in their invisible friend, where as the reverse has never happened. The ironic part is the religious are demonstrably wrong and the men of science have been demonstrably right for centuries and will to admit their short comings. Nothing will makes since to anyone when they are dead. Thats why they call it dead. A living person said you will live after you die and people just believe it. When they pray nothing changes, when science learns something the world changes. The church will one day die, not at the hands of science, but at the hands of reality.

Steven would have made a better Dalek with Donna Noble being there, and all.

...Until the philosophy which hold one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned...Everything is war. Me say war. That until the're no longer 1st class and 2nd class citizens of any nation...
Until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes, me say war. That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race me say war
