Piranhas aren't that dangerous. They usually won't attack unless they are super starved or you are wounded. If you fell in there is a very strong chance that nothing would happen to you. People have gone swimming in piranha infested waters and have been fine.

#8 You're right, under usual circumstances piranhas don't poise a threat to humans. But in a feeding frenzy it would be foolish to offer them any body-parts you still need.

Sometimes I'm so glad to live in Ireland where the most deadly creature we have are politicians. (okay we have some poisonous fish but rare as hens teeth)
