I wonder if there exists a tutorial to build this with your shower at home and a worn out deskjet :)

#3 - Gravity makes water fall. You can stop water falling by putting something between it and the ground. There is a device called a tap (or a fawcett for you yanks) that can do this, but it is fairly tricky to use. Program a computer to precisely control a series of taps in a line and you can make patterns. Got it?

To those of you who think the Japanese are so ingenious for doing this, know this: Jeep has had a display like this in the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) for as long as I can remember. Hell, that may be Jeeps display.

much more fun than normal waterfalls :P
I wonder if it could be used for color images :P or maybe the water could be replaced with some glowing liquid for awesome lightning effects in the dark.

I was hoping for a color print job. Don't get me wrong, this is quite fantastic, but a few colored lights would make it that much better!
