#6 I understand what you're trying to say about the money but I am sure that for the amount of money these companies do, a device that costs hundreds of dollars wouldn't heart their pockets. They are just lazy to invest, period. I eat chicken as well. Unfortunately we are on the easy side of the problem when everything was already done and we have no clue how the chicken suffered. Plus I don't believe this BS of science to tell you where to cut the chicken to ease the pain. Would you let someone cut your body with a knife after he says "don't worry my friend! I know exactly where to stab you so you will not feel a thing!" Yeah right! You don't need to be hipster, just be human!

We use to lock their wings and hang them from chicken wire fence. There was never two cut to remove the head. City wimps that can't survive without many people supporting their little lives. Let them all be vegans, more and less expensive meat for the rest us.

If some vegetarians only knew the ammount of animal parts (bone meal, blood meal) that are used to feed their beloved vegetables...

as far as I have learned from religious and non-religious people who have dealt with animal slaughter for food, blood is bad for you. mostly due to germs and bacteria in animal blood which we are not immune to. cutting the animal while upside down uses gravity and the hearts pumping to drain the blood, giving you healthier meat.

some might say this is the halal thingy of islam, but than we are talking about how the bleeding out is done:
with or without stunning the animal and who cuts? a muslim man or some machine.

The downvote is because people disagree, but I've gotten my fair share of plenty of upvotes and downvotes when people disagree with my comments since I tend to speak whats on my mind however I want.

I called it high tech because Noone's going to make a simple device to kill off a chicken in a factory line, they're going to come up with a high tech device to do so. Look up slaughter houses devices and tell me that shit is not high end equipment.

to make something to kill a chicken would waste more resources and money to do so and
they're not going to spend it because they are cheap and lazy. Basically they don't fucking care and nothing beats it faster than a simple knife cut to the neck and knowing WHERE to CUT.

I've chopped off plenty of chicken's head oversea when I visted the family who does live in a very different lifestyle.

Go to places like china and see chicken, cows,pigs, and even dogs and cat bludgeon to death while suffering a more than 2 mins of pain.

The best way to do it humanely is to know where to cut or make do it fast.

Find me a device to humanely kill off animals. Even if I invested my own funding into a device none of these slaughterhouses and different areas of the world are going to buy/invest in my work. Therefore no profit no bother.

you just hold its head twist and snap the head off and the bird runs around without a head for a little while then it drops dead. I guess animal slaughter is less revolting when you see it at an early age as opposed to having pets when you are little and bonding with animals..
